MarkShift
Converts files into Markdown for use with LLMs and text‑analysis pipelines. Comparable to textract, but focused on preserving document structure (headings, lists, tables and links) rather than visual fidelity. Output is meant to be consumed by text analysis tools; it is usually readable by people too, but this is not the right tool for high‑fidelity document conversion.
